A big, rich blockbuster of a red. In typical Koonara style, all residual sugar has been fermented dry, but the wine still tastes sweet. This one is the sweetest of the range, with natural fruit and new oak leaving a sweet chocolate tobacco finish

Bay of Apostles Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay
The best white wines are made with only free run juice. The Chardonnay (30%) was free run, while the Pinot Noir (70%) was pressed slightly to add a richness of flavor, giving this wine its slight blush colour.

Bay of Apostles Sauvignon Blanc 2010
Based at the foot of a dormant volcano, the Mount Gambier region is gaining a serious reputation for cool climate Sauvignon Blanc. 2008 was a cool year with a long growing period and these grapes were some of the very last Sauvignon Blanc grapes to be picked in South Australia.

Bay of Apostles Pinot Grigio 2010
Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are the same grape- Gris is French for “grey” and Grigio is Italian for “grey”. Australian winemakers attempt to use this to create two different styles; Gris is a richer, oilier style wine full of peach and nectarine, whereas Grigio-like this one has a more mineral character, with lychee, lime and fresh Gala Apples.

Long Flat Moscato 2010 White or Pink
The Moscato style originated in the Asti region of northern Italy. The wines key feature is the grapes natural sugar and flavour intensity. Moscato white: The aroma is fruity and fresh with a lift of musk lolly, green apple peel and melons. The palate is mouth filling and fruity sweet with a crisp and refreshing finish. Moscato Pink: A fruity bouquet of musk, strawberry and green apple is complimented by refreshing acidity and natural berry sugars on the palate.
